Driven to writing more on our book due to lack of reading material!

I have re-read all I can. March wasn't a busy month for new books. sigh..
   There were a few highlights such as Afterlife by Claudia Gray which closed her Evernight Series. The book was good but I am just not sure how I feel about the ending. I had great hopes for it, but it fell flat for me. I did enjoy the series overall. It is a great YA read.
   Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins was also a hit. This was the second in the Hex Hall series and it was better than the first. Great YA book! Kept you interested from beginning to the end. I laughed and cried. You get to see a side of Sophia's Father that was unexpected. Yea, Archer returns. Have to have a great lead guy.

Anyway, so after reading those and a few more with re-reads mixed in, I decided to write some more. That means that the minute mommy breaks out the pen and paper I have 2 children climbing all over themselves to color a beautiful picture for me. It is sweet but makes this process very hard. Computer you say, forget it! I get on the computer and Liam want's to help type while Rori demands to watch Dora on you tube. Really authors make this process sound easy.
Basically, I was able to come up with 4 pages of single spaced work. This was what I would call Transition work, from a major scene trying to get to another key part. Not my favorite to come up with. Thank goodness Jess is great with adding filler's and things that never crossed my mind.  However, I think it turned out well. Jess wants to title things so I wrote under the titles of "Highway to Hell" and "Welcome to Paradise." I will keep my fingers crossed and hope Jess likes it!
